An engine that allows any application to interact with one or more blockchains in a completely transparent way. It records and retrieves information and documents without the need to manage a node, a wallet, or any other aspect related to transactional processes typical of a distributed ledger using blockchain technology.

API Chain



API Chain is the technology on which SEGMENT is based.

API Chain is accessible via API from any application that supports them and allows interaction with blockchains.

In this way, no specific expertise is required within the company to communicate with blockchains.

Based on API Chain technology, SEGMENT 231 inherits its main features.

Within the framework of Law 231, it enhances flexibility, streamlines design and administration, and offers tangible, easily applicable innovation.

Through secure, immutable, and legally valid notarization of documents and processes, it enables the permanent and verifiable recording of any information, with legal value recognized in Italy.

Its simple and intuitive interface facilitates seamless integration of blockchain notarization into existing software and systems.

HOW IT WORKS

SEGMENT

In SEGMENT mode, the client is provided with an account to access the system and its interfacing documentation.

A test environment is provided, featuring specifications for system entities and functions (endpoints), along with a Swagger interface for verifying interfacing requirements.

In this way, existing systems can be integrated with the SEGMENT system by simply calling its endpoints, sending the necessary information and retrieving it—individually or via reports—at any time.

The system registers information, documents, procedures, and descriptive elements, enabling the creation of traceability systems, notarization frameworks, or customized solutions.

SEGMENT executes direct notarization on the blockchain and employs a caching system to ensure swift and efficient responses to data read requests.

Any application managing the 231 Model can integrate the SEGMENT 231 service with a few simple API activations. This enables the permanent and unequivocal storage of various data types, including text, documents, photos, and measurements.

As a result, 231 Model management undergoes a qualitative transformation—evolving from a mere administrative process into a strategic tool that generates value for the company.

A simple solution to this challenge is INSTANT 231—an app installable on each operator’s mobile device. It enables immediate and controlled on-site registration, ensuring efficiency and compliance.

  • The user is identified (via username/password + fingerprint, etc.)
  • Selects the context in which the registration will take place (physical location, process phase, subject of the registration)
  • Once authorization to operate in the context has been verified, the user can:
    1. insert one or more photos
    2. upload (or directly scan) one or more documents
    3. enter texts or comments
    4. input measurements, reference parameters, etc.
  • Finally, the user reviews what has been collected, selects what to keep, and registers it directly on the Blockchain through SEGMENT 231.

SUPERVISORY BODIES


Members of Supervisory Bodies are naturally highly sensitive to the management of the 231 Model, as they would be the first to be held accountable in the event of crimes or incidents. Within their Association (AODV231), this issue has long been a subject of discussion.
